Property care in Pakoštane
Pakoštane lies on the narrow strip between the sea and Lake Vran, the largest natural lake in Croatia, which makes it unusual: you have salt water on one side and a nature park on the other. Vransko jezero sits directly inland, and the freshwater and reed beds keep humidity high through the winter well beyond the shoreline. Damp and mould are the standing problem here, not wind. The same water is why insect screens are not optional here. We check and repair them over the winter, when a torn corner is a five-minute job rather than the reason a guest sleeps badly in July.
