Property care in Sukošan
Sukošan sits just south of Zadar and is best known for its large marina, which makes it a natural base for owners who keep a boat as well as a house. Behind the waterfront there is a lot of newer construction: villas with pools, built in the last fifteen years and often used as rentals. In season
Where a house and a boat come together, we look after both in one round: property inspection and a visual check at the berth on the same day. For anything beyond that on the boat, we bring in businesses from our network. Boat owners arrive with more than luggage. Trailer space, somewhere to store gear and somewhere to rinse salt off it decide whether a stay works, and we make sure all three are usable before the first arrival. The marina also stretches the season: bookings here run well into November, long after the beach towns have shut.
Out of season
The marina dominates the place and the winter question is usually as much about the boat as the house. On the water the exposure is to the bura across open ground behind the town, and berths and covers need checking after every hard blow. Salt corrosion is the standing job. Balcony railings, gate fittings and the outdoor units of air conditioners are treated once a year here, and the winter round is when it happens rather than in the middle of the letting season.
